Mocha Morning workshop samples coming up!

Happy New Year!

As promised I am uploading a few samples of the cards we will be making in January and February. If you are coming along and have any questions, please do drop me an email and I'll be happy to help.
These cards are made using the Mocha Morning designer series paper. I think this is probably my favourite paper set from the new catalogue. I have teamed up the Mocha Morning with some First Edition Newsprint paper and early espresso inks and card. I think I may have used a bit of crumb cake ink as well.
You can also see the Espresso Classic 6x6 ring binder album in the photo above, I have started to keep my cards in one of these.....it's just perfect for the job and of course it coordinates beautifully with all the cards that I have put inside!

It's hard to see in the photo, but the background paper I have used in the next card is textured with gorgeous flocking. I have also used one of the new Antique Brads in the centre of the flower. (Yes you will have some of these in your kit!)

In the next card I have coordinated the Mocha Morning Papers with Pool Party ink and cardstock. I love the combination of these colours.

The stamp set used on these cards is Creative Elements, another lovely set!
In the next cards I have used Rich Razzleberry as the coordinating ink and card colour. I think this combination might just be my favourite!
I'm looking forward to seeing you at one of the workshops in January or February!

I hope you have enjoyed having a sneak peek at the card samples and I'll see you really soon.
As always, thanks for looking,
Linds xx

A little glimpse of our October layouts....

It's not long until our October Christmas workshop. You've already seen some of the cards we are making, so I thought you might like to have a little look at the layouts I have designed for the day. I'm really sad to see Jolly Holiday paper go as it has been one of my favourites.
Here's the first one. I've used a 5x7 photo in case you wanted to get an idea of the size to bring along.

And here's the second one, again the photo is a 5 x7.

The photo is a bit dark in the sneaky peek above, but it's a photo of a train taken in the Christmas department in Fortnum and Mason. They practically had an entire floor devoted to their Christmas display - in August!
Anyway, check back later as I'm on a crafting mission this weekend and there may well be more samples coming very soon!

Just a couple for today...

My good friend Anni provided the inspiration for these cards. Both made using Love Letters designer series paper and the Artistic Etchings stamp set.

Thank you Anni, I love your work.
And thanks everyone for looking,

A couple more for Christmas.....

Another quick post today, just to share a couple of Christmas cards using the Welcome Christmas stamp set and the soon to depart patterned paper Love Letters.

Thanks for stopping by,
Linds x

It's Christmas......

......well it is in 113 days!

It's time to share some Christmas cards! I know it's early but this blog post is for my workshop ladies who will be coming along in October. We will be using the soon to be retired designer series paper Jolly Holiday. The workshop kit will include the Contempo Christmas stamp set and co-ordinating card in Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla.

I just love this stamp set!

The ornament stamp co-ordinates perfectly with the Stampin' Up ornament punch....saves time on cutting out!

And if you came last month and have Blueberry Crisp paper left..........

You'll be able to use that up too! I really like the combination of colours, Nights of Navy, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand that I used on these cards. And Blueberry Crisp is another soon to be retired set of designer series paper. I shall be sad to see this one go too. If you like it grab it soon, because once it is gone it is gone!

In the next samples I have used of the stamp set Welcome Christmas along with the Blueberry Crisp paper again.

And in the next few, I have combined the Welcome Christmas and Contempo Christmas stamp sets with the Jolly Holiday paper.

I hope you like the samples. If you are interested in coming along to one of my workshops, please do get in touch.
That's all for now

Tuesday, 12 July 2011

Well it's been a while, but our workshop is nearly upon us!

This is a very quick post with a sneak preview of some of the cards that we will be making at the weekend.

For those of you attending on Sunday, I have sent you images of the LO samples using the kit, so that you can get an idea of the photos you might like to bring along. If you are coming and have not received the email, please get in touch.

This month's kit will enable you to make really elegant and fresh cards like the ones above, but you can go bold and blue if you prefer like the one below.

I hope you like what you see and remember to bring a sharp pair of scissors along........I'm afraid there's cutting a plenty to be done!

See you lovely ladies on Sunday

Love Stories Simply Scrappin'

I've had this Simply Scrappin' pack for quite some time but until now it has been sitting neatly unopened in its wrapping. I should have opened it sooner - just like the Christmas Jingle kit, it is so easy to make cards with this set. I sat at my craft table on Saturday morning and within an hour I had completed 5 cards! They are very simple designs, but I was really pleased with the way they have all turned out.

And some close ups.

The cards are accented with my favourite Basic Pearls.

And here's a few more to share with you.

I really love the colours in this kit. And as always, everything in the kit, the papers, cardstock and elements all coordinate beautifully.

Hope you enjoyed looking. Bye for now x
