Trendy Trees........

Just one card for today. One I made earlier (last year to be exact). I love the simplicity of this stamp set. Newsprint paper is my most used patterned paper from Stampin' Up, it crops up everywhere on my cards!

More Springtime Vintage........

So, it's the Easter holidays and with that comes a little spare time to make cards!
It's not long now until our May workshop and I am really excited about the cards that can be made with this month's stamp set. The Baby Blossoms stamp set is so versatile and can also be combined beautifully with other sets. I have used the Four Frames set and Baby Blossoms in the samples below. If you are coming along to the workshop you will be getting the Baby Blossoms set in your kit, but the Four Frames will be there for you to use too.

I spy styled hodgepodge hardware in the next card! And yes you will be getting some of these yummy frames in your kit ! In this card  I have also used some of the new seam binding ribbon in crumb cake.....guess what? Your kit has this too!
If you have any pearls or bling, you might want to bring it along - you can see where it has been used in the next card.

More samples........

The next card is a twisted easel card. I have seen lots of these in different styles. I thought I'd have a go at making a Springtime Vintage one......and here's the result. They are really easy to make but look quite impressive.

Make sure that you bring along your Just Believe set from the last workshop as we will be using these too.

And now for the scrapbook layouts. There are two, one is very pink and a sneak peek can be seen in my April 1st blog post. The other, as you can see, is more subtle using blues and creams.

And a close up.......

So that's it for previews. I'll be sending an email really soon to let you all know what else you could do with bringing along. You should receive this by Easter Monday.

Thanks for looking .

More Baby Blossoms......

I just love this stamp set. The Baby Blossoms from the new mini catalogue are making an appearance again! This time I have been creating my own patterned paper using random stamping all over the cardstock. Ink colours used in the following cards are crumb cake, pear pizzazz, always artichoke, rose red and blushing bride.
And here's another using the same technique........

And if you are coming along to the May workshop.....here's a few more cards to give you an idea of what we will be up to :)

In the next two cards I have combined the Just Believe stamp set with the Baby Blossoms set. I just love Stampin' Up pearls......you get so many in a pack and they are just perfect for the Springtime Vintage suite.

In the next one I have used some of the new seam binding ribbon in rose red.

Thanks for looking again. xxx

Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue 2011

Well here it is, the new mini catalogue 2011.
There are some lovely new products in this catalogue including the launch of the Stampin Up Bigshot and exclusive Stampin Up dies.

There are 3 new product 'suites'
The Springtime Vintage suite is my absolute favourite with a floral, feminine and nostalgic feel.
The Botanical Gazette suite features stamps and papers with natural and realistic designs. It uses a warm, muted colour palette.
The Oh Sew suite is retro, whimsical and feminine. Using a bright, fun colour palette it is just perfect for little girls to grandmas!

Baby Blossoms and Springtime Vintage Papers

Finally I can start to share with you some of the cards I have been creating using stamps and papers from the new mini catalogue.
The Baby blossoms stamp set is absolutely gorgeous and can be used to build up so many different flowers.

Both of these cards are made using the new Springtime Vintage designer series patterned paper and crumb cake cardstock. I have used a combination of rose red, regal rose and pear pizzazz ink.

And a little close up of them for you......

I have also completed a LO for  the May workshop. Here's a sneaky preview if you are coming along. It's very pink! And for those of you who are not fans of pink, don't worry, there will be a different colour option for you!

Thanks for looking....and check back soon for more creations using the mini catalogue new releases!
